Sand Art by Jim Denevan
“Jim Denevan makes temporary drawings on sand earth and ice that are eventually erased by waves and weather.”
For some reason, I really like the idea of putting so much energy and effort into carving out your mark, as if to say, “I exist”, onto a surface that is fluid and ever-changing. It’s just the impermanence of it all isn’t it?
